Life Updates

I have not posted on this blog for how long? 10 years? Yes, that's how long it has been since I graduated junior high school. Phew.. time flies, right. For those who might not have been in contact with me, I now have graduated undergraduate, professional, and master's degree in pharmacy and currently doing some kind of internship thing in Carbohydrate Bioengineering Research Group (CBRG) Lab at Indonesia Institute of Sciences (LIPI)and also apprenticeship for my supervisor's self founded biotech-based business that I will probably explain later in another post. It's been quite a long journey I took for the latter half of my life for me to get here. 

Anyway, there are reasons I decided to come up here to write: 

1. I needed a medium to write, not in the smart-educational way, just a diary kinda writing. With less study/work related thing bugging my mind lately, I find myself deep in random or self-reflective thoughts more often. And then, they just.. disappear. It is true after all, that thinking without writing or speaking it out won't get your ideas anywhere, nor it will make it last. With this I hope, at least it stays, so I can read-over and reflect in other days. 

2. My thoughts are reserved to people I know well, and sometimes they still need to be heard. My twitter was once a private place for me to share short thoughts that crosses my mind without people judging, but I don't feel safe there anymore. Meanwhile, only close friends and high school friends know me as Ameula, know the meaning of it haha, and most of them don't even know I got a blog. So, I'm hoping this to be a safe space. I trust you guys! 

3. I am training myself to write more, it may get more academic as it goes, who knows. I just want to make sure I don't lose my English writing skill as time goes by and if possible, even improve. My posts will most likely be short ones, or maybe long when I'm in the mood. We'll just see...

Dear....

Do you ever miss someone so much it hurts? It randomly came onto me this evening. One name suddenly flashed on my mind, out of nowhere. It's my past high school crush's. I wondered how he's doing right now, we have not been in contact since graduation. Does he still remember me, a high school friend? He was a good friend met through being a classmate in 10th grade. He was so kind he even helped me shut off a stalker, haha. We were never in the same class anymore after that, but his kindness did not end there. He helped me in his ways in 11th grade when I was not doing so well in my extracurricular activities. Fast forward years later, I met him again on my way to class at campus, someone called my name, I almost didn't recognize who he was. He did not change much actually, but it was really unexpected meeting him there! Turns out, he was attending a competition in Faculty of Medicine. Heeeyy It's Holidaay!

wow! it's holiday at last! after a busy ninth grade (haha) . well I planned to stay at home this holiday. because I still have some private course. hmm yeah, hope I can get the best school in town! haha! how about your holiday plan? would you share to me? ;)
